Why we use your information and our legal bases
- Enquiries and quotations: to respond, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and, where appropriate, taking steps requested before entering into a contract.

How we receive and protect information
Website form submissions are sent to our business email inbox. An uploaded CV is temporarily processed by the website so it can be attached to the email. The website then deletes that temporary copy. The emailed application and CV remain in our business inbox until deleted in accordance with the retention periods below.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including limiting access to people who need it, maintaining website software and protecting the accounts and devices used to access business information.
Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent personal information. Where necessary, information may be processed by:
- Our website hosting and technical service providers
- Our business email provider
- Professional advisers such as our accountant, where relevant
- Government bodies, regulators, courts or law-enforcement authorities where required by law
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted international transfer takes place, we require an appropriate legal safeguard, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual protections.
Cookies and external services
We do not currently use cookies for our own advertising or analytics. The website may use strictly necessary technology for security and basic operation.
Our website loads font files supplied by Google Fonts. Your browser may send technical information, including your IP address, to Google when requesting those files. Social-media icons on our website are ordinary links; Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn receive information only after you choose to follow one of those links.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not become customers: normally up to 12 months after our last communication, unless needed longer for a complaint or legal claim.
- Careers registrations and CVs: up to six months from submission, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or become a worker or employee.
- Customer service records: for the duration of our working relationship and for as long afterwards as reasonably needed to deal with questions, complaints or legal claims.
- Invoices, payments and accounting records: normally six years from the end of the financial year to which they relate, or longer where the law requires it.
- Technical logs: for the period set by our hosting or security provider and only for as long as needed for operation, security and troubleshooting.
